Winnie the Pooh transformed into R-Rated horror film

Childhood classic ‘Winnie the Pooh’ has been reimagined into a gory horror film. It was only made legally possible because of copyright expirations and the film has already raked in $2.5 million on its opening weekend.

It’s hard to believe, but the beloved childhood classic Winnie the Pooh has been reimagined into a gory horror film. The movie, titled Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, follows Pooh and Piglet as they go on a rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them. It features some crazy kills and is definitely not for the faint of heart.

The film was only made legally possible because of copyright expirations, which allowed director Rhys Frake-Waterfield to create his own version of the classic character. Despite mixed reviews from critics, it has already raked in $2.5 million on its opening weekend, proving that there is still a demand for this type of content.

For those who are brave enough to watch it, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is sure to be an unforgettable experience that will leave you questioning your childhood memories.

The days of adventures and merriment have come to an end, as Christopher Robin, now a young man, has left Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet to fend for themselves. As time passes, feeling angry and abandoned, the two become feral.

After getting a taste for blood, Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet set off to find a new source of food. It’s not long before their bloody rampage begins. In cinemas March 10. On Blu-ray, DVD & Digital this Spring.
