Tennis player Camila Giorgi embroiled in fake COVID-19 vaccine controversy

Italian tennis player Camila Giorgi is being investigated after she allegedly used a fake COVID-19 vaccination certificate to play the 2022 WTA season, including last year’s Australian Open.

Camila Giorgi, an Italian player, is under investigation after it was claimed that she used a false COVID-19 vaccination certificate to compete in the 2022 WTA season, including the Australian Open last year.

Explosive details claim that Giorgi was never immunised against COVID-19 because she requested a false vaccination record from her family doctor, Daniela Grillone, for all obligatory immunisations, including COVID-19. Grillone was previously detained and accused by Italian police in February of last year for administering sham shots to hundreds of people at her Veneto clinic.
