The nation has farewelled the two police officers killed in last week’s deadly ambush near Chinchilla in southern Queensland. A family friend named Laura Harriss described Arnold as a leader who was happy to be a police officer.
In between being hugged by coworkers at the beginning of the service, Keely Brough, one of the police officers who survived being shot at by assassins Nathaniel Train, Gareth Train, and Stacey Train, wiped away tears.
