Authorities in Queensland think they’ve located the saltwater crocodile spotted around North Stradbroke Island and they’ve now launched a major operation to capture it. This is day three of the search for the crocodile who has been named Bert by a local legend. More news to follow as this develops.
This is a possible second sighting of the “Bert’ North Stradbroke Island crocodile days after the shocking “credible” sighting. The sightings are around 500 km south of the region that is typically referred to as “croc country.”
