Police Minister Mark Ryan and Crime and Intelligence Command Detective Acting Chief Superintendent Denzil Clark spoke in Brisbane to announce changes to child protection legislation and provide a weather update.
The Palaszczuk Government will introduce tougher measures to hunt down child sex offenders and will support police efforts to stop reportable offenders using the latest online technology to offend against children.
