After a record-breaking cool start to summer, the sweltering heat will arrive on Tuesday 6th December. The weather bureau has issued a heatwave warning for much of Queensland, and it will be a shock to the system.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe heatwave warning for most parts of Queensland.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach low to mid 40s, from today.
Please check on vulnerable friends, family or neighbours (like the elderly, pregnant or young kids).
