Officers were sleeping in the station at the height of the exhaustive investigation into the murder of Toyah Cordingley, and they’ve repeatedly paid credit to the community.
Locals pushed for years to raise awareness and made 300,000 bumper stickers with Toyah’s name.
They’re now preparing for another round of printing with a new slogan – “Justice for Toyah”.
