Now Australia will be getting some of these extremely effective weapons following a deal and announcement of the Albanese government’s $2 Billion dollar investment on these rocket systems.

The purchase includes 20 land based high mobility artillery rocket systems from the United States. These can be fired from a range of 300 kilometres. These are actually the same weapons donated by the US and used by successfully by Ukraine in its fight against Russia.

On the water there will also be new capabilities for Australia also with the government signing a new deal to acquire naval strike missiles for the Australia Navy fleet.

It is thought that these purchases will help to modernise Australia’s armed forces and help to keep any possible future adversaries at bay
